Lovely day at Wesley Clover Park, with my latest Camargue Collection!

What a great crowd at Wesley Clover Park’s Ottawa Horse Day, saw so many Facebook friends, and clients, and art lovers, and horsey people. People that own horses, that ride, that wanted to ride, that started riding..... People that drive horses, play polo, ride ponies, do yoga... People that photograph, collect art, love art. People that have been to the Camargue region in Southern France and shared their memories. But the one lady that made my day was an Asian lady that could hardly speak English-- she was so excited to share her daughters artwork with me. She reached into her bag and pulled out her sketch book! I think he daughter was around 10. Her mom was so proud of her work that she wanted to share it with me! That my friends is what artists want to do--share their work. It was a pleasure to share my work with a the people that stopped by my booth for a visit.

Wesley Clover Parks, ‘Horse Day’ , Saturday, June 6

Horse Day is a national initiative that was started by the Ontario Equestrian Federation (OEF). http://horse.on.ca/oef-events/horse-day/

OEF member stables from across the provinces mark the day by hosting their own activities.

Wesley Clover Parks hosted it’s third annual Ottawa Horse Day in order to give Ottawa residents and people visiting the nation’s Capital a chance meet horses and learn about riding in a fun, safe environment. An annual family event designed to give people of all ages an opportunity to get up close to horses.
